From the moment the adventure begins, the atmosphere combines exotic settings, humor, and action to create a memorable VR journey.

Designed in the same spirit as Star Pirates VR, The Pirate’s Golden Skull VR allows players to physically walk around the ship in all directions. This full freedom of movement delivers a powerful sense of presence and realism, making players feel as though they are truly living the pirate fantasy rather than simply observing it. The sensation of exploration and immersion is one of the game’s strongest assets.

How the project started

The project originally began as a short VR demo created for international conferences and events. Its goal was to showcase a visually rich and immersive environment capable of demonstrating the full potential of virtual reality. From Annecy Animation Festival to Dubai Deal Show and VR Days Amsterdam, thousands of players tested and enjoyed the experience.

The enthusiastic reception encouraged the team to go further. Rather than keeping the project as a simple demo, the decision was made to release The Pirate’s Golden Skull for free on Steam, making it accessible to the wider VR community. Additional mini-games were planned to enrich the experience and extend replay value.
